SWYNZ are oganising a beach cleanup this Sunday along the Petone foreshore. The area we will be targeting is from the playground on "The Esplanade" down to the river mouth. This is a part of the beach that is unseen from the road and seems to get less cleaning than the rest of the beach. Please look at the below image for details.

We are planning a beach clean up here on Sunday 24th at 10am. Meeting at the play ground. Rubbish bags and gloves will be provided. We will be participating and taking notes of how much and what rubbish is found up and down the beach (Thanks Kate) . Please pass this on to people who might be keen to help out.
