On Sunday, 30th August, SWYNZ hosted another beach clean-up along the Petone foreshore in Wellington. Again there was a great turn out from alumni members, friends and even some new people who just saw the email. (Thanks Garage crew!)

The forecast was grim but 18 people showed up to what turned into be a calm still beautiful morning on the Petone foreshore. A lot of rubbish was taken from the beach again, proving that needs constant attention due to the nature of Wellington's windy and rough harbor.

After the cleanup, some members enjoyed lunch at a local Yum Cha spot and caught up. Thanks for everyone who turned up despite the gale force warnings!
