Richard Ngatai
Richard is a New Zealand Maori, selected by the Ministry of Youth Development and the Japanese Government as the National Leader for the NZSWY delegation. He is a policy analyst for Te Puni Kokiri in Wellington.

Andre Afamasaga
Andre is a New Zealand born, Samoan youth worker and youth volunteer from Wellington. He specially worked with Pacific Island youth in Hutt City and has developed a number of initiatives aimed at Pacific Island youth.

 

Mylee Gordon
Mylee is New Zealand Maori university student from Hamilton. She is currently studying towards an Bachelor of Arts in History and Japanese.

Dallas Harema
Dallas is a New Zealand Maori living in Christchurch. He studied psychology and philosophy at Canterbury University and is currently working as a Youth Worker/Guidance Counsellor for intermediate and high school students
Wesley Talaimanu
Wesley is a New Zealand born Samoan who resides in South Auckland. He is currently employed as the Youth-Social Worker for the Glen Innes Youth Development Programme with the New Zealand Police. Wesley has also completed a Bachelor of Social Work at the Auckland College of Education.

Crystal Whitmore
Crystal is a university student from Christchurch. She is in her second year at the University of Canterbury, studying towards an LLB and a BA in Political Science and Spanish, and has been actively involved in youth leadership programmes such as the New Zealand Youth Parliament.

John Eastwood
John is a West Aucklander. He has completed a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Construction Management and is a member of the National Executive of Scouting New Zealand and Chair of the National Youth Committee.

Ryan Harkness
Ryan is a Rehabilitation Therapist from Auckland. He specifically works with 16 - 25 years old patients and is involved with a number of other community projects within the Auckland region.

 

Rebecca Blakie
Rebecca is a youth worker and youth volunteer based in Wellington.
Nikita McMillan
Mikita is an 18 year old Cook Island New Zealander who grew up in Invercargill and is now living in Christchurch. She is currently working towards a BA in Japanese and Politics at Canterbury University.

Kattrean Webber
Kattrean is a half Japanese New Zealander who was born and raised in Wellington. She has a BSc in mathematics and mathematics education and is a qualified secondary school teacher of maths and science as well as being a trained ESOL teacher. She is very interested in other cultures and has taught in NZ, Japan and Korea. She is currently working for IBM in Wellington.
